Canary Wharf Project Comes on Stream
Interact Fire Solutions has secured the first project for castings on RT4 at Canary Wharf. The extension to the very public area requires fire protection to four 323.9 CHS columns in the refectory area housing Costa Coffee. The columns are situated just behind the service area. The mall is a major thoroughfare to the office and retail units in the area.
The circular hollow sections using Interactive Columns are 6 metres high. The castings were chosen for their very hard wearing impact resistance and high aesthetics. This part of the project is due for completion in early 2009.
