Interactive Hybrid—The Best of Both Worlds

Interact’s recent research and development has allowed us to expand our repertoire further, combining the economy of directly fixed castings with the aesthetic power of our secondary cladding system.
Introduced in 2008 is the Interactive Hybrid, a system which allows the boxing in of universal columns, quickly, competitively and with a high level of design function.
The material is tough enough to eliminate the need for expensive and unsightly reinforcing as used in most box fire protection systems. Again, Interact’s material is such that for minor repairs, the owner does not need to call in an expert and neither is there a need to replace swathes of material... unlike conventional board systems.
Similar to Interactive Casings, the hybrid is cast over perforated steel to provide support when bridging the flanges.
Like Interactive Columns, the castings are attached directly to the universal column. Any construction gaps are filled with intumescent material so no design joints are visible.
The unique properties of the material allow Interact to retain highly detailed resolution for example, corner scan remain sharp if required
