These give up to 3 hours fire protection together with the extra security of being able to withstand blast and jet fire. The cast epoxy intumescent that makes up the casings has been subject to hydrocarbon standards of testing.

Hotels are cleaned more regularly and rigorously than most buildings. As such, feature columns can be subject to many knocks and possible damage by vacuums and polishers. Interactive Columns are remarkably hardy and put up with a great amount of abuse without any visible damage or impairing of the fire protection integrity of the system.
